Liefering VS Hartberg

Austria Erste Liga

Posted on: September 16, 2014 at 4:24AM

Handicap: Over 3.5

Analysis:

Odds are definitely far from great but this seems to be a no brainier. Clash between first and last on the table, a thing that some bettors are afraid of (for no reason imo). Liefering are doing great, 7 wins in 9 matches with just one defeat have put them in the leading spot of Erste Liga with three points more than LASK. The fact that their closest rivals on the table will have a tough task in Kapfenberg makes them even more motivated to win this one, as they could possibly go to 6 points of difference. They have scored 10 goals in last 2 rounds and 6 of those were on the road. In the last match Liefering had 5 different scorers on the scoreboard and that just shows their versatility. I believe that they have more than enough to trash a team that has scored 4 goals in 9 rounds. Still, you might say that guests are waking up as they won their first 3 points in the last round against St. Polten. but the truth is that they are conceding a lot, almost 3 goals in average so far. Although it is a bit tough to bet on goals when you doubt that one team will even hit the net in 90 minutes, I have to go with an over 3.5 here. Liefering are just to much for guests at the moment. Good luck.

Bradford PA VS Oxford

England Conference North

Posted on: September 15, 2014 at 4:30AM

Handicap: Over 3.5

Analysis:

Although English leagues are not my favorite, especially for the goals, I have chosen this match today as I really cannot see it ending as a boring match. It seems that Bradford just cannot find the end of the crisis they are in for last 3 weeks. They got 4 straight defeats and now are just 2 points away from the red zone on the table. The schedule was hard for them to be honest but on the other hand, they have shown some improvements recently and I believe that they can build on the good display against Lowestoft last Friday. On the other side, Oxford were humiliated at home vs. Fylde and they expressed their fury on Boston in the next round when they won 7-2 on the road. In the last round, we saw a routine win against Gainsborough 2-0. These two sides played 4 matches between themselves, and we saw a total of 13 goals which is lightly above 3 in average. I believe that even though players are tired from Friday matches, they will show us a good game and hopefully we will see some goals. Good luck.

Essen VS Moenchengladbach II

Germany Regionalliga West

Posted on: September 12, 2014 at 5:45AM

Handicap: Over 3.5

Analysis:

Last weekend I won with goals in Essen game and although logic would maybe be against this bet as it is hard to hit it in a row, I will go for it just because the odds are too good. Essen continued with their "crazy" matches full of goals but we used to see them as winners in the matches on the road. In the last round they have been beaten by Kray 4-2 in another thriller where we saw Essen coming back into the game twice. Anyway, they failed completely in the second half and lost that match. Now they are facing an even more difficult challenge as Mgladbach II will be in a visit, searching for fifth consecutive win. Last two matches of the guests brought 12 goals in total and just like Essen, they are looking like a side who are able to concede easily. That is what actually happened in the last round, when Gladbach got 3 goals in their net from Hennef, a last placed team in the league. Four from last six matches between these two sides went over 3.5 goals, and both teams seem to be in a mood for goalscoring fiesta. Goals are my bet here. Good luck.

Kaiserslautern II VS Nottingen

Germany Regionalliga Sudwest

Posted on: September 6, 2014 at 2:13AM

Handicap: Home -1.5

Analysis:

Kaiserslautern are in 5th place, just 3 points away from promotion zone and although it is still very early in the season, they are showing the results that could take them to 3rd Liga. What caught my eye is their great defending as there are only 4 goals conceded in 6 matches which is really low for this competition. In fact, there are only two more teams who have done the same, and all others have conceded more. On the other side, 14 goals scored, which makes it over 2 in average. After the lost derby against Elversberg, Kaiser played well and got two 4-0 wins, one at home and last one on the road. On the other side, Nottingen are in bad shape. They have lost last four matches in a row and three of them were at least with 2 goals of difference. Last one, in Mannheim, was a disaster, ending 5-0 for the hosts. Nottingen will have to search for survival in home matches where they seem to have less problems finding the net and have scored 7 goals there. Still, their poor defence which is conceding almost 3 goals in average so far will not get them far. I have to take these odds, bets on a winner in this league are a bit of a gamble but even money is a good offer in my opinion. Good luck.

Romania U21 VS Montenegro U21

Euro U21 Qualifications

Posted on: September 4, 2014 at 3:17AM

Handicap: Over 3.5

Analysis:

Interesting finish in the group 6 of U21 quallies will have its first half played today. Two sides that are fighting for second place will play against each other at the Dinamo stadium in Bucharest. Romania will have a more difficult task, they have this match and they travel to Germany in the last round. They started this campaign really bad, they dropped points when visiting Faroe Islands and at home vs. Ireland. But, it seems that they improved lately as a draw against Germany at home was followed by 3 points at home vs. the weakest side of the group. Now they are hosting Montenegro, a team that has beaten them in Podgorica exactly one year ago. Montenegro are coming to Bucharest without some important players. Key defender Alic is injured and his sub, Cukovic as well. There are two missings in the midfield also, as Jovovic and Bakic have been added to senior squad of Montenegro. Coach tried to find some substitutions for missing players in two friendlies against Croatia but it failed and both were lost. Montenegro can only hope for something here with to wins. That includes this, and the match against Faroe Islands on the road. Even with the missings in the away side, I cannot go against Montenegro here, the attacking potential of this side is just huge. We have Stefan Mugosa from Kaiserslautern, Luka Djordjevic from Zenit and Darko Zoric from AEK all expected to be in starting 11. Both teams will be looking to win, and both of them have problems in their defence. I chose goals here. Good luck.

Ural VS Terek

Russian Premier League

Posted on: August 29, 2014 at 5:15AM

Handicap: Away -0.25

Analysis:

Here is one of the best bets for today in my opinion. Terek have finally shown everyone how much they are worth and after five rounds team from Grozny have ten points and are holding the sixth place. They have been defeated only against CSKA Moscow and drew against Rubin Kazan at home. Wins came against Amkar, Mordovia and Arsenal Tula. Still, visit of Ekaterinburg will not be easy at all, and they will have to give everything to win this match. Hosts are not a force but they just have to get three points here as they are already in a problem. Just one point after five rounds is a bad result and in addition they have four players unavailable for this match. On the other side, Terek are coming with their best eleven and I believe they are worth a shot.

Neftci Baku VS Partizan

UEFA Europa League Qualifications

Posted on: August 28, 2014 at 6:27AM

Handicap: Home +0.5

Analysis:

I just cannot believe that odds are set up like this. Partizan are favorites away from home after they almost got embarrassed in the first leg in Belgrade. They conceded 2 goals in 10 minutes and everything looked like disaster. Anyway, they saved themselves with 2 own-goals from Neftci, and a clear offside goal from Grbic. Now hosts have a good result and a minimal win could take them to the group stage of this competition. Partizan went on their trip without Vladimir Volkov, an important player on the left side, and that is a way for Neftci to get a good result in this clash. Partizan are quite poor on the road and I repeat, these odds have to be taken as are above all reality.

Torino VS RNK Split

UEFA Europa League Qualifications

Posted on: August 28, 2014 at 6:21AM

Handicap: Home -1

Analysis:

Europa League quallies are returning today and we have quite an interesting match in Turin where Croatian side of Split will be in a visit. Torino did what they wanted in the first match, they returned undefeated from Croatia and now any win is good for them. Split have became a force in Croatian football and they are making the top four alongside Dinamo, Hajduk and Rijeka. On the other side, their football is still way below Italian Serie A and even a mediocre side like Torino should be able to beat them without much problems. The team under the Alps has been known for their excellent home displays last season and I believe they will continue that tradition today. Home win for me.

Arsenal VS Besiktas

UEFA Champions League Qualifications

Posted on: August 27, 2014 at 4:14AM

Handicap: Home -1

Analysis:

The first leg of this clash brought us a surprising draw without goals in Istanbul. Personally, I expected that London side will take care of most of the business there but they made their job harder. Now side of Arsene Wenger will have to look how to save the net because every possible draw with goals is not good for them. On the other side, Arsenal a much better team and I expect their full strength to be seen tonight. Just imagine what consequences would it have if Arsenal was knocked out by Besiktas. It just does not happen in modern football. Arsenal are giants and this way or another, they will play in Champions League this season. I expect a comfortable win for the hosts tonight.

Napoli VS Bilbao

UEFA Champions League Qualifications

Posted on: August 19, 2014 at 4:25AM

Handicap: Home -0.5

Analysis:

The elimination round of UEFA Champions League Qualifications starts today and we have some spectacular matches. One of them will surely be the one in Naples, where Athletic Bilbao will be in a visit. Both teams almost kept the same squads from last season, but Bilbao lost Ander Herrera, a man who was a key player in the middle of the pitch. There were some stories about the difficult financial situation in Spanish club but no one really confirmed those. Anyway, I rate that squad of Rafa Benitez is a bit better at the moment, they are playing in front of their own fans and will try to bring at least a minimal win to Spain. On the other side, I believe that guests will be happy with a minimal defeat, especially if they score.
